Inspiration Flow Patterns!

For a while, I was looking for inspiration on and off the yoga mat.  I found myself unable to be inspired and couldn't think of a theme if my life depended on it!!! (drastic, probably over-exaggerated, but somewhat true).

But something happened.  It clicked today.  Whatever "it" is, came back and I'm feeling excited, confident and motivated.  For the classes I teach on Thursday, I've chosen my theme.  It's all about being in the present moment.  Creating small goals for yourself and how you will get overwhelmed if you think of the big picture all the time!  I understand how intimidating it would be, if you had to lose 15 pounds and all you could think of was 15 LBS!!!!  "How the hell am I going to take that off?!"  Instead, the focus should be, I'd like to get out of the..."whatever's," perhaps the 170's, the 180's and so on and so on.

In my health coaching program, I thought about all the schools I wanted to contact about leading workshops and became overwhelmed.  So instead of contacting any, I contacted none.  I chatted with my health coach today and she said, "Instead of thinking about all the schools, why don't you focus on 3 and start there."  YES!  3 is way easier than contacting 15!  I can do that!

What small goals can you work on?  Maybe it's walking for 10 minutes 3 times a week.  Drinking 3 liters of water instead of 2!  Checking out 1 book at the library, instead of 5 and knowing you won't have time to read all of them.

Inspiration ebs and flows, choose which river you'd like to flow in!
