My Mom, Dad, Aunt Deb & Sister give me love, support and constructive feedback. They are not afraid to be straight-forward and truthful. But they also remember to sprinkle their honesty with love.
My closest girlfriends surround me with an invisible circle of protection and strength. They are interested in how my day goes and I am interested in theirs. I have these evolving friendships filled with gratitude and lovingkindness.
If I accept this kind of love from family and friends, why wouldn't I expect it from someone I am in a relationship with? Well that's just it, isn't it? I do expect it and deserve it. As do you!
