New Week, New Goal
I signed up for a MONTH of HOT YOGA! I have incorporated racquetball, walking 5 miles a couple days a week, running stairs, push-ups into my weekly workouts! I decided it's time to bring HOT YOGA back in if I'm not going to be lifting any weights/doing core work on my own.
Tonight @ hauteyogaqueenanne, Leah, (the owner and instructor) led a class based on letting go of toxins. We focused on a lot of twists, advanced holds, etc. The toxins I decided to mentally let go of, were the negative thoughts that fly through my head. The Thoughts that tell me, "You aren't good enough," or "If you go out on your own, you're going to fail." Instead of "No, I'm not going to fail," I'm telling those thoughts, "So what?" Why the hell not fail? The worst thing you can do, is not do what you want because you fear failure. How about trying whatever it is that you are scared of, fail and try again? Who knows? Maybe, just maybe, you will succeed. Which one is more scary?

Reigniting My Flame!
(this is a hilarious picture, so please feel free to chuckle)
I'm BACK!
Back to yoga.
After a 3 week hiatus of walking, running stairs and being exhausted from working more hours than I normally do, I am back! That's the awesome thing about exercise, you can ALWAYS come back! And yea, I was a little weaker in the plank holds and my hips and shoulders weren't as open as they usually are, but it gives me something to look forward to. There is no end point in achieving goals and if your goal is to workout once a week, you will do it!
Challenge yourself, because life is boring without it.
